Default Giant local squid

HI all, Going out tommorrow nite Thurs.Any info on the local squid? I hear they are washing on the beaches from huntington and to the south.Any info would help thanks, Gary

Wierd alright, we got into em real good a few times last weekend on Yutaka's rockfish trip on the Vagabond. Big ones, to 40 lbs. Actually floated for us at Salsipuedes in mid day at one point.

But in the Times today, they state that the Humboldt squidleys (the ones we're seeing right now) aren't good for eating. Fine by me
